Question
How would one connect their MP3 player to listen to music via the computer speakers, assuming the computer is ON. I have an audio line in and headphone jack on the MP3 player, and the 1/8 inch cable, and of course the sound card with Microphone, Audio in, and Audio out. Can this be done?
thanks.

In fact that is very easy i have done so before. Jus ttake the cord that plugs the speakers into the pc and plug it into the headphone jack on the mp3 player.

do they make switchable junction mechanisms for 1/8 cable so you can switch from computer to MP3 player when using the speakers?
