Hi, I have a silverstone lc17s-c case with a gigabyte 965p s3 mobo, but think there is no internal speaker to beeb on first power up. Can I use headphones through my mobo instead, or will there definitely be a speaker in the case?
Thanks

Welcome wylstar!
I would have thought there would be a speaker in the case but a hardware tech will confirm this. |

Hello Wylstar,
Welcome to The Site, Is there any major reason you want to have the beep at startup? It's not really necessary apart from, like me, a bit of a security blanket .There is usually a small "speaker" on the motherboard that will beep on POST (Power On Self Test). This can be disabled/enabled in some BIOS's by tapping [del/f2/whatever you Bios manufacturer suggests] and finding the setting to enable/disable silent boot. Hope this helps
