Default Loose/broken monitor connection on back of PC DELL DIM. 2400

The monitor cord got yanked pretty hard and pulled on the connection in the back of the PC. It's pretty loose and I'm not getting a signal to the monitor. I looked around inside but the connector is hidden under the PRINTER connection. I can see it, but can't get to it. I'm trying to figure out a couple things here: Does the printer connector just connect to the motherboard or is it attached? Is the monitor connector easily replaceable/replaceable at all? Is it expensive? Where do I buy the replacement part?

Welcome to PCHF p_rusher!

Have you tried contacting Dell for the replacement parts?

Hi p_rusher, welcome to the pchf.

Everything that is onboard is physically attached to the motherboard...

Unfortunately, there is no way to replace the video card port without actually replacing the motherboard.

Yeah-- unfortunately this machine has only PCI slots-- so you could not even add a VGA video-card and by-pass the onboard setup.
