Default [Fixed] Computer Restarts

I just recently built my computer and I'm having a little trouble.
Specs:
a8n32 sli deluxe
amd x2 3800+
xms 1 gig pc3200
evga geforce 6600gt
thermaltake 430 watts
thermaltake tsunami case
3 maxtor hard drives (dont have the model)
*1 out of 3 is a sata hard drive

Usually when I'm playing game, world of warcraft, my computer would restart on me when i alt+tab out. On rare occasions it would restart when I'm in the middle of playing it. It does happen when my computer has been on for a while and I open a video file.

I sent in my motherboard to asus and it tested fine.
I just sent in my processor and it passed the test.
I used another memory on my system and it still restarted (rules out the ram)
I tested out another power supply and it still restarted (rules out the power supply)
I tried out another video card, which was the same brand and model, and it still restarted.

When I talked to AMD, the guy said I should be running at 1.3 to 1.35 volts but I'm running at 1.39v. That would also lower my temp from 57C (running all out programs, really stressing out the processor) to a much lower temp. I lowered the voltage and I am still getting the same problem.

I found out that it wasn't restarting but getting this error message, but my computer was set to automatically restart. Here is what the error message.

A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you’ve seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Hello ComputerGuRu,

Have a look on your Pc for a program called "Nowcom Memory Defender". Uninstall it if possible, and this should resolve your problem!

Can you search your HDD for a folder called Nowcom?

Also, if your ok to use the registry (Start, Run, type: regedit.exe):
- Go to Edit, Find, and look for NOWMEMDF.SYS.

If you find it, right click on it and export it as type (text file *.txt) and attach it back here.

P.S. Thank you for the detailed information on your first post... very helpful.

Lovely.

- Go to My Computer, Control Panel, Administrative Tool and then Services.
- In the list of Services, look for NOWMEMDF or Legacy_NowMemDF.
- Right click on the item and Stop.
- Right click again and go to Properties.
- Change the "Startup Type" to Disabled and OK.
- Finally, test!
