I am having the same problem, but my computer also freezes at random times. also, when I have anything else besides the c:/ hooked up it happens much quicker, or goes black on boot. I have tried several power supplies, but i'm not sure they are not the problem, this is my setup : MSI K8N NEO Platinum
AMD 64 - 3700+
Nforce 3 Chipset
eVGA Geforce 6800 Ultra
1Gb Dram
3 SATA drives
2 ATA drives
