Well, it takes about 2.5 minuets or more to start my new pc. When it was just built boot times were really quick then I decided to upgrade to Conroe since I had a p5w dh deluxe witch I purchased with a new rosewill 600w power supply. After the boot times got annoying I switched out the power supply and bam everything worked fine but it’s a really cheap power supply that doesn’t have an active pfc.
So all I need to know is if its normal for a active pfc to take longer to boot and if so how much longer cause the rosewill works great once the pc is all booted up.

Hi shishtawoo, welcome to the PC Help Forum!
If there's a problem during bootup with a particular power supply, it could indicate that the PSU is sending a bad signal through to one of the components. Or the "amps" or "rails" aren't matched correctly. It's not just about wattage anymore
