OK well I got all my $ and im ready to buy it all and build a computer. I just have a few more questions. Are 24 pin connectors and 20+4 pin connectors different? THe motherboard im getting says 24 pin and most power supplies say 20+4 pin connectors. Also what is a good power supply brand? And do you think 500 watt power supply would be enough for a non sli system. And is this a good cpu AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ Manchester 2000MHz HT 2 x 512KB L2 Cache http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103545. And my last thing bios. Is it hard to do I have no clue what it is and I am worried.

Hi spkid, glad to see you're about to build your own computer It's really satisfying when you first turn it on without any explosions

If you're buying a new power supply - it will have 24 pin connector, so yes, 20+4 is the same thing, it just means that the extra 4 pins can be removed if you have an older motherboard.

Silverstone is a good power supply brand, so is ThermalTake. Stay away from Antec at the moment - they've been recieving alot of bad reviews recently.

500watt should be enough, but if you're not sure, go here and add all your components you're going to buy to the website...it will tell you exactly how much power you need.

And BIOS - it's software on the motherboard which is alraedy installed - you don't need to touch it
computers these days detect what your cpu is already.

Good Luck and i hope this helps!
