howdy chessman

Any mobo/rig can use dual rail power supplys - it just ensures that your power delivery is more linear by allowing one rail to supply power to your video card and processor for example, while the second rail is dedicated to supplying power to your hard drives, add in cards and optical drives

I've got the Xconnect 550 and Antec Neo Power in my two rigs, both have dual rail power supplys and it allowed me higher overclocking as well as better stability at high overclocks in comparison to my old antec and enermax units that were rated for nearly teh same power output, but offered only single rail 12V lines.

may i have everything on same rail? my mobo has 20 pin plus 4 pin 12v

this psu has a 24 pin connector that is seperatable down to 20... were does the other four go??? it doesnt fit the 12v 4 pin connection on my mother board,, only connector i could find that matched up to my motherboard 4 pin connection was a intel EPS12V 8 pin connector that splits in half and makes two 4 piners.. one fits exacly in the atx four pin on my mobo so thats what im running it on,, this must be rong.

Is your Card overclocked? If so I would tone it down a little or can be a faulty GPU

Is the fan on the card working? It could be that the card is overheating.

If I remeber correctly your other card worked correct? If it didnt maybe a faulty gpu slot on your motherboard?
