I don't know if this is the way it works. I am writing because I happen to have a problem with my pc. I bought it a couple of months ago, I bought the components and assembled it myself. Everything seemed to work perfectly. But after a day or two, it started to cause problems. It would even sometimes shut down by itself. I am sometimes working I it suddently restarts. I don't have any idea what it can be. My best guess is that the motherboard has something wrong. But I need someone to confirm my hypothesis. If someone could help me, I would be thankful.

And yup , this is about the way it works indeed.


Sounds like it could be an overheating problem , do all the fans work? And is there a good thin smooth layer of thermal paste between the processor and cooler?
