Hi chesmaan and welcome to PCHF, can you give us some more info on your hardware? (mobo/cpu/power supply/video card). Have you connected the psu to your videocard, some cards require an external power supply, and what's the strength of your psu in watts?,
Bram

Hmmmmz, my mistake LOL.....
This is quite weird since most card, when not receiving enough power, give you a on-screen arning about a power shortage. But your problem appears to be related to your videocard.
Did you connect the power supply to your videocard on a 'free' power (not connected to any other device) cable?

Do you have the opportunity to try the card on a different computer?

ok, i tried the bfg6800gt in my other pc,, samething happined fans and leds came on but no monitor activity,, but that pc only has a 300 watt psu in it and is less than what the bfg card calls for, so that may be why, i dont know

today i took out the 4200ti spare card that doesnt use a second power dongle and put in my other old 5700 ultra that uses a second psu in the original machine that had the bfg gt card in it and the Xconnect uv back light was back on after rebooting the machine?? wtf?
