Hey Im sorry about the urgency of this but My pcs gone totally weird in the last 20 mins

It started by my pc crashing whilst playing an online game then the this happened

*A rapid clicking noise when my pc starts, last for maybe 7 seconds (never before)

*I rebooted came back in and a zone alarm alert window came up (never before) the details in zone alarm and the window wouldnt load and it stayed blank

*uninstalled ZA and now everytime i click the file to reinstall it does the mege error click sound constantly n wont load up.

*I restarted and it loaded to my desktop but after 20 secs it went to a log in screen (never happened before) and made me log in then back to desk top.

*everytime i clicked IE to come on this site it loaded 20 windows up - and the error noise kept coming.

*recycle bin oppened mutliple times

ETC

Please could anyone give any suggestions

I scanned for virus and nothing

EDIT - the pc randomly went into stand by mode

Howdy Buckethead and welcome to the forums,
*A rapid clicking noise when my pc starts, last for maybe 7 seconds (never before)
This leads me to believe your hard drive is going out. Can you put your ear to the case and tell where it is coming from?

As for the IE opening alot is a spyware issue, but we need to know if it is your hard drive doing the clicking. Is it beeping or click click whirr click?

Next thing to do is to open the case and boot up the pc, and listen to where the click is coming from. Almost all clicking noises crom from the hard drive. But not always.

Be careful here though. Most companies will void your warrantee if you open up the case. Check for stickers, documentation etc that will clarify no void!
