Glad to hear that you have a genuine copy now.

but when it was in the middle of installing them it asks for this Microsoft Office XP pro MSI thing
Would you be able to take a screenshot of that message and post it onto the forum for us to see.

Right I think that the best thing to do would be to perform a repair installation of windows.... if you are happy doing this then follow the following link, it explains everything in great detail.

http://www.windowsxpprofessional.win...pair/index.htm

Once you have done that let us know if it solves the problems.

If you are not happy doing then let us know.

Thanks, Just had a read through the Site, I take it that this deletes everything and makes the PC like brand New? If so then i'll have to save all my things on it, good thing I bought a DVD burner, But I do have problems with that but I'll save that for another day ^^;; Reinstalling wasn't soemthing I was looking to do but if i have to then I will.

Also have a problem with that...I won't be able to do the repairing yet, I don't have my XP CD yet, it says that there could be a 1-4 week wait to get the CD from Microsoft so I ahve no idea when it'll arrive, just wondering if theres anything I can do to tyry and fix while i wait?

When you perform a reinstall it does NOT delete anything from your drive, it simply replaces the existing windows files and fixes any problems.
Make sure you follow the link I posted because that explains how to run the repair install.

Another thing you could try is to click on START - RUN and type SFC /SCANNOW however you would need the Windows CD for this as well so we may have to wait for a bit.

If you manage to get a screenshot then post it up for us so we can look into solving it a different way until you get your XP disc.

Howdyho, tis me again just saying that I got the CD today in the post and I gave it a go for the repair and Surprisde Surprise...I have a Problem >> I'm having no luck am I? I read up the site that you linked me to and Fgured out to do it all, but the Problem i'm having is on step one >> The""put CD in and Reboot and it'll autoplay into the repair section"

I Put the CD in and Rebooted...and rebooted....and Rebooted but it never started so I read the site and it said to go into BIOS and change the 1st boot priority to ther CD rom which I did, saved and rebooted but All I got was the To start from CD Press any key and after I did that it just started XP up to my desktop with no window, no nothing asking to Repaior or install Windows, just wondering if I've done anything wrong or anything I can do to get it started? Thanks for the help so far, it's appreciated ^^
