Hi bruno, welcome to PCHF.

How far do you get before the laptop switches off? Do you get into Windows? Do you have any messages or errors before the switch off?

Default Battery

Hi Bruno,

Welcome,
Just a couple of checks to run through to rule them out.
Try removing the battery and with the mains power plugged in try to start the laptop up. This will rule out the power supply as a problem and help point us in a clearer direction.

Default Hardware

I think that this sounds like a fairly decent hardware failure, you should see if the machine is still covered by warranty and contact your supplier to get it seen to.
