Hi all, my PC is nearly 6 years old and I'm considering changing the small battery. Do I need to copy various settings first, or can I just do a quick

Welcome to PCHF. When you post a new thread, if at all possible, choose a forum that is most closely related to the question you have, in this case, that would be General Computing, Hardware.

In regard to changing your cmos battery, other than making sure the computer is off, (You'd be suprised :tongue: ) you don't need to do anything special before changing the battery.
