Default [ANSWERED] MP3 Player Help Needed

Hi

I bought a MP Man MP3 Player MP-F57 yesterday and was wondering how long it takes to fully charge the battery. I connected it to my PCs USB port for charging for about 5 hours yesterday and only had 1-2 bars lit on battery symbol. It's been on charge for most of today too.

It shouldn't take that long to charge. Mine only takes about 3 hours at the most. It could be a faulty battery.

I would always go for the direct-to-power charging option...do you have a re-charge lead that goes straight into the wall?

Thanks for your reply ... I have a battery symbol in the top right-hand corner and its flashing while charging. Should this stop flashing when fully charged?

Also, do you have to have your PCs base unit powered up to charge the battery?

No it can only be charged via USB port. I've just checked it again and is now fully charged

Generally batteries can take a long time on their first charge to charge.

Ok, I have another question

On my MP3 Player when I press "Menu" button it gives me a load of options including "Artists", "Title", "Genre", etc. Now I presume I can search for a song by selecting, let's say "Title", and it would give me a list of songs on my player, but it doesn't, it just list one song title and thats it.

I really need help with this player. It also says in the manual that I can create "Folders". The manual is not a great deal of help really as it doesn't tell you a lot. Any help would really be appeciated
