Hi all,

I turned pc on this morning and after about 5 minutes got blue screen with writing and so re-booted but will not come on.

The fan kicks in but pc doesnt attempt to power up.

I installed new graphic card xmas but otherwise had no problems until now

Has anyone got any idea what this could be.

PC fair on near me today so can get parts.

Are you still the owner of the old graphcis card?
You could try if getting that one back in works. (I think it's not the reason but you could try it)

Anyway, there are multiple things that can cause this problem.
RAM, CPU, all possible.

What are your system specifications?

As well as re-booting, you could try removing the power cable for 5 mins and then plugging it back in again. Also, did you do anything inside the case last night that may have caused these problems this morning?

Does your hard drive light flicker when you switch the PC on and does the drive "spin up" ? Check that all of your cables are seated correctly within the PC.

Just opened the pc and unclicked all cards and am and give the case a good dusting and now its up an running again.

Off to my other pc now to save this site to my favs.
