Cool PCI IDE Card problems
Ok, I just got my new system up and running...however my new motherboard only has 1 IDE thingy, and I have 2 hard drives, and one dvd to hook up.

So I got a PCI IDE card. It also has two SATA on it, but I'm not using any of those.

I'm hoping to run my OS off the onboard IDE and keep the DVD as the slave. That would put my bid data HD on the pci card.

However, I can't get it to install. I have a driver disk...but nothing is working. Nothing installs and the instructions want me to make a raid (I kind of know what that is) when I boot up my computer. However, it sounds like they want me to reinstall everything. I'm not sure what to do....like if I have to make a raid will **** get deleted off my old disks? I really don't want that. Thanks a lot
