Unhappy [Resolved] - Usb/firewhire adapter wont work...

Well Its not a pci kind of adapter, it Has to slots that go directly into the motherboard and after I plug it in it wont Regester when I plug anything into it, think anyone could tell me what I am doing rong? :icon_scra

Hey there 5lug5lo

Could you post the exact make/model of this adapter.
  • One thing you can try is power down your system and remove the adapter.
  • Then unplug the power cable from your PC, insert the adapter, plug the power back in and boot your machine.
  • Does it get detected when you get into windows?
  • What version of windows are you running?

well, The adapter came with my motherboard (Gigabyte K7 trition KT600) so i dont know the exact model... I am running Windows XP home edition, servive pack 2, I will try the power down thing In a little bit...
