Default Pc makes clicking sound whenPLEASE HELP PLEASE

The problem that I am currently having with my computer is quite odd and I've never encountered anything like it before. After moving my pc fan around, and finding a new place for it. I found that when i use my mouse's scroll button to scroll up and down on my msn, my pc makes a weird clicking sound. It sounds alot like a typerwriter but as of now it only happens with msn ...can someone help me? oh and the sound it makes is similar to the electricity sound too *click click click*

 Hey Crayon,

Welcome to PCHF. Wow, that is a crazy one.:cheesy:

The only thing you can identify as different is the fan being moved?

You only notice this clicking sound when you are on the MSN website?

Does the sound come from the computer speaker or your regular speakers?

Can you post the specs of your PC and include your mouse?

Look forward to your reply,

TTFN

 Hey Crayon,

NP, we will be able to help you out on your upgrade, but let's see if we can't figure out what's going on with your PC now, and get that annoying clicking sound off your computer.

Do you use any other IM program?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling MSN Messenger?

I'm thinking that you moving your fan is incidental, and not actually relevant to the sound.

Look forward to your reply,

 I'm sorry, did you want a more exciting answer?

You could always reformat and reinstall your OS. LOL.

Give the un/re install of MSN Mess a shot, and let us know if anything changes.
