Default plz help comp freezing

hi,new to the forum and hopelessly new to computers- friend gave me this computer resently <from various parts>. it worked fine for him but its freezing on me on the hour it seems sometimes every 10 mins.

friend said maybe its the motherboard- something about virtual memory, i downloaded PC wizard but have no idea how to get motherboard readings. the hard disk <if that means cpu> is 42 c- so is not overheating

besides freezing once in a while the comp works great- im sure noone will know what the problem is without knowing more about the computer but maybe someone can point me in the right direction to find the proper course of action

oh yah i just bought a new mouse and keyboard <someone told me that could be the problem> so its not that

Hi Buschdiver,

Welcome to the PCHF!

We have a great team Tech experts who will be more than happy to help you out.

Has the computer been doing this since the day you got it or did this just all of a sudden start happening?

Did it happen just after putting it on the internet?

Nope , the hard disk and cpu are a little bit different from each other..

Try one of these apps and report back the result please:
