You can alternate between screen sizes quickly by holding down the "Alt" button and pressing "Enter". This should put your screen back to full-screen mode. Depending on the monitor, changing screen resolutions can have an effect on the "viewable" screen size and you may need to either do the above shortcut or manually re-adjust each time with the control buttons on your monitor. Are you using an LCDscreen? If you are then you may have an auto-adjust button that will do all of this for you.

Hey Sumo,

Have you tried uninstallng and reinstalling the vid card? Also, is this the same PC that you recently reformatted? If not, it may be wise to check it for malware as this is a recent issue.

This is a software/driver problem the hardware is fine.

right click on your desktop and goto properties - settings, you will se your cfx card and monitor if it says plug and play monitor chances are that the screen settings for all resolutions wont be exact. click advanced, there sould be a setting to adjust the width hight and position for each resolution and save it in one of the tabs here.

hope this helps
