Looks like an great machine. Only thing i would change is the 2.1 speaker set to an 5.1 set.

And maybe an pci sound card but have a look how the onboard sounds first.

I'll be sure to do that Hengis when in order in an hour or so Joe: I may just go with a set of nice headphones for now.. I've yet to decide. But ya, those 5.1 speakers where the ones i was looking at, at first.. I'm just not sure if my onboard sound supports it.

That motherboard has an 8 channel onboard sound chip so a 5.1 speaker set should work just fine.
