[Pending] Computer Crashes to BIOS

Dear Support Forum,

I have a MESH PC with an Intel P4 3.0hz, 1Gb RAM, ATI 9800, DVD R/W and 3x Hard Drives (1 off a ATI SATA Card) and Soundblaster Platinum.

I am having problems on boot up. Occasionally the machine will boot into windows then suddenly dump me out back to the POST screen. Then the message CANNOT FIND BOOT DISK message is displayed. If I reboot again the machine will power up fine (except the occasional scandisk session). I also get dumped out of Windows when playing Battlefield 2, which is usually at the stage when I have a fully loaded Blackhawk and am approaching the enemy flag :evil: . I have rechecked all the cabling and even upgraded the BIOS (ASUS Motherboard). Does anyone have any suggestions that I can try?:icon_scra

Hello and welcome to PCHF

To me it sounds like you might be having "heat issues"

Would you be able to check all the fans in your computer and make sure they are all running properly.

You can also download Motherboard monitor which should show you your temperatures:
