hi evreyone, i've herd some good things about this place...
anyways, i have a GIGABYTE K7 triton series, KT600 moutherboard
(im reading this from the box). and i have a 1.9 ghz amd sempron processor, and im looking to get a better one,preferabley under 200 dollars, one that will run my games better (battlefield 2) i've looked for some and i cant seem to find any decent ones that are in my price range... please help me :undecided

Could you post the EXACT model number of your Gigabyte motherboard. It will help us determine what processor is best for you The model number is usually written on the motherboard itself somewhere.

right above the ram slots it had a gigabyte symbol and "GA-7VT600 1394"

Exactly what I needed my friend - here is a list of all of the supported processors for your board. Go for the best you can afford and don't forget to add more RAM at the same time
