Go back into device manager and remove (uninstall) them all - then re-boot and let Windows re-discover them all.

Thanks Hengis. I rang pworld helpline just beofre you reponded
![]() They did all these tests and said its just the modem (LAN) thats in one USB is using all the power - so I should either get a hub Power USB hub or update my usb drivers on the packard bell site then it should be ok - I went to PB.co.uk though and downloads but I cant find any updates , sorry but does anyone know what I should be looking for - I even typed in USB driver upgrade and nothing :S |

I dont think a driver update would solve something using all the power... but if it all works if you disconnect the LAN modem then it may be that you need a powered hub (especcialy if you use lots of USB things, like keyboard/mouse/modem/card reader/mp3 player/camera/external soundcard/external harddrive all at once :evil

I agrea with Ge64 , either you need a powered hub or a stronger PSU i think.
But have a look here for drivers: http://support.packardbell.com/uk/ If you want help with it then please post the model and serialnumber of youre pc.
