OK, could you check your device manager again and see whether you have those two "Universal Serial Bus Controllers" or whether there is only 1 now.

OK will you be able to disable the bottom one... the one with only two devices in it. You should be able to right click on each device and choose "disable".

i don't know why i didnt find a bios setting that would shut the onboard usb off
