You can use those for a front case/panel usb connection , any luck with getting it to work sofar?

no, i was hoping that i need to connect something to these two slots so it works but i was wrong
now, since i changed the pci slot, the card disappeared from my device manager completly. someone know where to get the right driver? maybe i used a wrong one.

Win XP probebly should have the driver for it but can you post the brand and model of that card?

Also in youre device manager , click on that little computer icon to "scan for hardware changes" and see if it gets detected then. If not try to place the card back in the first pci slot you had it in.

And can you try the card in an other pc?

Also, could you create a Belarc Advisor log with the USB2 PCI card in your pc?

i changed it back to the old slot and rebooted and now the usb2 things appear in the device manager but the card still doesnt work

here is what it had to say
