do you also have onboard video? That might still be on.. If so (if you also have onboard graphic's) try putting the monitor into the other input for video

I do not have onboard video.

Do you have another PC that you could possibly borrow the video card from to test in your system or can you borrow one from a mate?

it is probly the mother board, were you messing around with your hardwhere before it happend?

i had this problem
it turned out my RAM was dodgey...
i changed it and all was well
