Default sound blaster 128 problems

my system:
AMD 2.6ghz
MSI K7N2 delta2 ILSR
512mb DDR PC3200
200gb hdd
dvd
cdrw
Win XP pro corprate! SP2

i recently purchased a logitech formula GP yellow steering wheel from a mate of mine but he had lost the Game port to USB connection so i went to install my SB 128 to use the gamepost as the MSI board doesnt have 1 onboard but when installed the Gameport has a yellow exclamation mark next to it saying "This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. (Code 12)

If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system."

i checked the I/O of the device and its set at 210-217 but its beeing used? tried 200-207 and still beeing used!

the sound card has installed fine but the gameport doesnt want to work and thats all i need it for can anyone share any light on this situation please im desprate lol

ive tried it in all pci slots but 1 and thats the 1 my network card is in! hmm help

Welcome to PCHF,

Best thing to do to get the IO's in place is to reset the BIOS, and go back into BIOS and reset the time, and set it to safe defaut mode untill everythign is setup then back to normal...I hate the way some kmobo's sort out the IO's
