well you see...this is where my problem lies.
I took the PC to the shop i got the parts from earlier after posting....and they were great about it and the bloke in charge said they would revamp the whole PC for me. ( Ive been having some trouble woth the graphics card so they were already taking care of that)
Anway, i dont think he saw the severity of the situation and well he only mentioned the motherboard as part of the replacement, didnt mention the
CPU.....do you think i have made an error telling them what happened or wont it matter as long as intel dont twig.

ed:
The shop is a great shop and i doubt they would worry too much about lying to the manufacturer. Shame though - as this PC was my bash at building my own computer - but since i made it ive had not much but trouble.
Thing is i didnt find it hard at all and well lets face it - there isnt much to go wrong is there? Especially as i am not yet into overclocking and all the parts are compatible.

mobo the
PSU is still good..
What heppened was, i put the USB device in, and hears a poof and a spark, then the pc went off. I then replaced the plug (as the fuse had gone) and tried the pc again using thr same
PSU - nothing else different...and it did it again except worse, the second i pressed the switch on the
PSU to turn it on it blew up lol. smoking a bit also. Then i brought a new
PSU from the shop of the same specifuication and all it powers is the light on the
mobo - nothing else, not even fans, LED's elsewhere. etc...
