Im going from

atholon xp 2400+ 2.0
G4ti4200 128
asus a7n8x

To
Amd atholon 64 3000+ 1.8gig
Asus extreme N6600gt 128 pci express
A8n Sli motherboard

I'm just wondering what you guys think. I wanted something good enough to play black and white 2, battle field 2 and age of empires 3 without major lag.

Since the new processor I'm going to is a 1.8 I'm guessing is more powerful since its a 64, then maybe i could over clock it.

Should have no problems on that rig

Try and up the CPU to a 3700+ as they overclock nicely.... Also, make sure you have at least 1gb RAM.

IF you have some good fans that card will do fine.. Depends on what core ya get. The 3000+ just really means it run's as fast as a Intel P4 3.0ghz cpu. you should be able to get it to 2.1 ghz without any major heating up.
