Default Drives problem, help!

my pc hard problems detecting my hard drives and my CD drive...
so i figured the power suplly was the problem, i bought another one and i still have problem accessing my Slave hard drive...
After my pc crash because it cannot find my slave, my pc stop detecting my cd drives and my 2 hard drives.
i reboot and try again, and everything work perfectly.

theres some problem here, what is the meaning of this, does that mean NONE of my drives are working?
Or mayb the cable that connect my slave to my pc is wrong, but if that would be the problem, then my master wouldnt be working either.
afther my slave **** up my pc stop detecting my 2 cd drive, are my cd drives corrupted too??!!!

plz help

Alright to me it sounds like it might be a problem with the IDE cable that connects to your hard drives/cdrom.

OK so you have 2 hard drives and 2 CD-ROM drives, lets connect them up as follows:

Connect your "boot" drive to the primary IDE connector on the motherboard, and make sure it is set to "master"
Connect a CD-ROM drive onto the same IDE cable but set the jumper to "slave"

Now on the secondary IDE controller:
If you have a CD-RW or a DVD-RW drive then connect that as "master"
Connect your second hard drive to the same cable but as a "slave"

Try this and see if it works.

If nothing is detected on either the "Primary" or "Secondary" controller then try to swap the IDE cables around, if the problem moves over to the other controller then you can gaurantee that the problem is with the IDE cable.
