Sometimes when i boot up the computer it starts up fines with no problems but it gives me this error message that saids BOOT FAILURE REBOOT ANED SELECT PROPER BOOT DEVICE OR INSERT BOOT MEDIA IN SELECTED BOOT DEVICE. after i press reset a couple of times then i will start up fine. another error i get sometimes when i start up my computer is it show information on my lan driver and below that it said
CILENT MAC ADD 437893589459843875943 000000000000000
DCHP .........../
the / is spining around in a little circle. it would do this over and over again until i get lucky and have the dam thing start up.

You need to go into the bios and disable PXE or LAN as a boot device

Would you happen to know how to do that ? is it in the bios?
one other thing i forgot to mention, when the computer 1st boots up it show the msi logo for about 2-3 min b4 it does anything and when its detecting the auto detech the primary drives and the cd rom and all of that it really slow. why is that ? |

It's trying to boot by using "network" as its primary boot device where most PCs use primary hard drive or floppy drive.
Go into the bios - look for the boot device order - put hard drive at the top and move PXE or Network to the bottom of the list.

...could be...you can easily check the jumper settings on all your drives.
If you have 2 optical drives then make one master and one slave/cable select
