Default [Answered] Skip-free playback

Don't really know where this should go, but this seem the most appropriate.
Whats skip-free playback? I'm now on a flash-based player which they advertised offering skip-free protection. Now HDD players can only offer protection for like less than half an hour.
Does that mean that after half an hour pass, then there would be sound degration and the audio skips? If so, how does one solve it? Am on a flash based player now, so skip-free music is like highly unlikely, so I've never experienced it before.

Any help would be appreciated. :-)

"Skip-Free" when it comes to MP3 etc players means no moving parts. If there are no moving parts in the player there is no physical way that it can jump or skip whilst playing tunes

As in 'skip' meaning it won't jump from song to song suddenly or some words will be missed? And how can I solve it say 25 minutes have passed with a ipod?
