Peek has today released the world’s first Twitter mobile device, a palm-sized gadget with a QWERTY keyboard that enables Twitter members to always be connected with the micro-blogging site and post updates whenever they want. Named TwitterPeek, the handheld is 0.4 inches thick, weights 317 grams, has a color screen and a click scroll wheel, and is backed by a one-year warranty.

“Twitter die-hards will appreciate its ‘always-on’ instant tweet delivery and newbies will finally ‘get Twitter’ once they have TwitterPeek in hand,” said Peek CEO Amol Sarva. “Even businesses that Twitter will dig TwitterPeek as a convenient way to stay connected with their customers.”

The grey and aqua TwitterPeek models are now available from Amazon with either a 6-month unlimited Twitter service for $99 or with an unlimited service for the device’s lifetime for $199.
