IronKey is keeping its standards high with the D200, a new flash drive which aims to provide high data security on the go for consumers, government and enterprise customers. The D200 measures 75 x 19 x 9 mm and weights 25 grams, has a one-piece aluminum case that is waterproof to military specifications, boasts a USB 2.0 interface, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND flash memory chips, and delivers read and write speeds of up to 25 MB/s and 17 MB/s, respectively.

“As mobile devices become more ubiquitous, it is imperative for enterprise organizations to be able to track, manage, maintain and update the USB drives in use in the organization,” said David Jevans, CEO at IronKey. “Many of our large government and enterprise customers require the ability to update and upgrade devices in the field. The addition of the D200 devices to the IronKey line, provides this functionality, and allows us to offer more management and more choices without ever compromising on security.”

IronKey’s creation also features AES 256-bit hardware encryption, and malware defenses like AutoRun protection, the Read-Only mode, Trusted Network restriction, and optional antivirus/anti-malware scanning.

The D200 will be available in capacities going from 1 to 16GB.
