MSI to release the AMD Neo-powered Wind12 U230 laptop
By: Metal Mind | Posted 11.3. 2009Taiwanese manufacturer MSI is preparing to introduce a new Wind-branded portable machine, the 12-inch U230. Pre-loaded with Windows 7 Home Premium
the laptop measures 297 (L) x 190 (D) x 31 (H) mm and weights as low as 1.3kg (with a 3-cell battery, and features a 12.1-inch 1366×768-pixel display, a 1.6 GHz AMD Athlon Neo X2 CPU, Radeon HD 3200 integrated graphics, up to 4GB of RAM, and a 160, 250 or 320GB hard drive.

MSI’s machine also includes a 4-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi (Bluetooth is optional), a HDMI output, and a 3- or 6-cell battery. No word yet on the Wind12 U230’s retail date or pricing scheme.
