According to Google, the new feature will enable users to translate web pages with a simple click, as it will automatically detects the language the text is in, and translate it into the the language set for the browser.

The function is supposed to work even if you surf to other pages that use the same language so there’s should be less pointing and clicking to get to get the info wanted. The new Translate feature supports 41 languages and can be tried out by downloading the Toolbar for IE from this page. The Firefox-ready Toolbar will also get this feature, and soon too.
