Automatic shutdowns begin for Windows 7 Beta users
By: CompuZap | Posted 07.1. 2009As previously promised, the Windows 7 beta is as of today starting to bug its users by shutting down automatically after two hours of operation.
This will continue until August 1st when the beta version of the upcoming OS will expire.
To wash away the shutdown worry people just have to move to the Windows 7 RC, which is newer and more stable anyway, and will expire on June 1st, 2010. As of March 1st, 2010 the RC will also start to do self turndowns but that’s pretty far off, well after the launch of Windows 7, which is scheduled for October 22nd, so don’t worry, be happy.
